Reese Witherspoon joins Disney’s Wish List

Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon has reportedly signed onto Disney's high concept romantic comedy Wish List from Tooth Fairy scribe Randi Mayem Singer.
Wish List has an interesting premise, it follows the story of a young girl who makes 10 wishes at a wishing well, only for none of them to come true when her coin gets stuck on the way down.
Some 25 years later, the coin is finally dislodged, hitting the bottom of the well and triggering those long-forgotten wishes. The girl, now a successful career woman (Witherspoon), is in for quite a surprise when all her childhood desires suddenly come back to haunt her.
According to Deadline, the concept originally called for a male lead but was changed since the upcoming comedy The Change-Up focuses on two men who switch bodies after weeing on a magic fountain and Seth McFarlane’s Ted is already set to explore what happens when someone’s childhood invades their adult life.
Witherspoon will next be seen in action comedy This Means War from director McG which opens on February 17 2012 and also stars Tom Hardy, Chris Pine, Til Schweiger, Laura Vandervoort, Angela Bassett and comedy favourite David Koechner.
THIS MEANS WAR COMES TO CINEMAS ON FEBRUARY 17 2012
