Reese Witherspoon was drawn to action and adventure of This Means War
Gorgeous Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon who is known for the Legally Blonde series, Water for Elephants and Walk the Line has revealed that she chose This Means War for the action and adventure.
Witherspoon is best known for romantic comedies and tells Reuters "It was a great opportunity to try something new, yet I felt like it had enough comedy that it felt fresh.
Combining it with this very viable spy story made it feel new. But I had a few stunt doubles because there were things like driving cars, jumping off buildings, cars tumbling towards me, things on fire."
Witherspoon who has the Jeff Nichols drama Mud in post production also says it was lovely working with her co-star Chris Pine adding "Chris is very thoughtful and earnest. What I didn't expect was this wonderful charismatic charm, he has a composure that's lovely to be around. He's really grateful for everything he has in his life."
This Means War comes to cinemas on March 2 and also features Tom Hardy, Til Schweiger, Angela Bassett, Rosemary Harris and V hottie Laura Vandervoort.
