Ritchie to direct superhero movie

Guy Ritchie is to direct a movie based on the comic book anti-hero Lobo.
The British director has signed on to direct the film for Warner Bros, with Joel Silver on producing duties.
The pair recently worked on the forthcoming Sherlock Holmes together.
Lobo, who is a blue skinned alien bounty hunter, is a character created by DC comics in the 80s, and quickly became a fan favourite.
The studio has been trying to adapt Lobo for the big screen for years, with The Bourne Identity's Doug Liman once linked to the project.
