Robert De Niro and Diane Keaton play husband and wife in The Big Wedding
Hollywood legend Robert De Niro has signed on to star as Diane Keaton's husband in Justin Zackham directorial debut The Big Wedding, formerly known as Gently Down the Stream.
The Big Wedding sees De Niro and Keaton play a long divorced couple that pretend they're still married for the sake of their adopted son's wedding. Comedy ensues when they try to get along for the whole 24 hours without their brilliant plan unravelling.
The pair haven't acted onscreen together since 1996 drama Marvin's Room and shared a CV highlight of The Godfather: Part II.
According to Zackman, we can expect the same kind of vibe as his previous comedy The Bucket List, but with “a little bit more sex and bad behaviour.” in a film that also stars Hollywood hotties Katherine Heigl and Amanda Seyfried.
