Robert Pattinson will Hold On To Me (and Carey Mulligan)

According to Deadline R-Patz aka Robert Pattinson is set to star alongside Carey Mulligan in the indie thriller based on a true story - Hold On To Me. Carey will play an obsessive high school girl with a crush on Rob (not hard is it girls?) ... somehow she then lures him into a complicated kidnapping and ransom scheme.

The film was previously titles Nancy and Danny and will be directed by James Marsh (Project Nim) and a script by Brad Ingelsby, the film is being shopped at the American Film Market. The film sounds like a less cynical and more sinister version of Young Adult, and has been described as being similar in tone as Gus Van Sant's To Die For.

We expect an early 2013 filming start likely, but Pattinson will be very busy next year between this, David Michod's Rover and Mission Blacklist. And of course, he'll next be seen in the final burst of Twilight action with Breaking Dawn - Part 2 scheduled for that awkward red carpet event alongside "bitter-sweeheart" Kristen Sewart on November 12th 2012.

RPATZ & KSTEW LURVE UPDATE: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted out together over the weekend giving us the first chance to see the couple together since it was revealed the actress cheated on her boyfriend of three years with married director Rupert Sanders.

Although they were with a group of friends, and they didn't kiss, or hold hands, they did leave in the same car together.. is it on? Only time will tell.
