Robert Pattinson’s love for a special girl called Tai

03 March 2011

Robert Pattinson may get to work with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood but his favourite co star is more of the gentle giant variety.

Robert Pattinson proved this month that he is quite the animal lover as he graced the cover of Vanity Fair draped in an alligator and wearing a black bowler hat. The Twilight Star talked about fame, his love for Kristen Stewart and his apparent even greater love for a special lady named Tai.

Tai is the Asian elephant that he and Reece Witherspoon co star with in their new film, Water for Elephants. Pattinson spoke very highly of her saying: "She was the best actor I ever worked with in my life, I cried when the elephant was wrapped. I never cried when anyone else was wrapped."

Considering Robert is such a quiet softie, it's still baffling as to why he still faces bullying, unbelievably from members of the public, he describes it as; "I’ll be walking down the street, and people will be like, ‘F**k you!...."And I get a lot of people wanting to beat me up. Men in bars and stuff. I just leave."

Well after working with a string of beautiful ladies and making more money a year than most people do in a lifetime, I think it's safe to say that those bullies are just jealous, plus they better watch out, after all his new best friend is a giant Asian Elephant!
