Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to play one of five wives in Mad Max: Fury Road

She made her Hollywood debut in Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark of the Moon in the lead female role of Carly and now it seems that the rumours are true and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has secured a role in George Miller's eagerly anticipated sequel Mad Max: Fury Road.

Deadline report that the Victoria's Secret model will play one of the five wives in the Tom Hardy led sequel that will also see Snow White and the Huntsman's Charlize Theron and X-Men: First Class's Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz in key roles.

Huntington-Whiteley won't be the only model featured in the cast, it was previously reported that supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw will play one of the beautiful women locked up in cages in the post-apocalyptic world.

Huntington-Whiteley was first linked to the film last month, when she was seen with Miller at Juanita Nielsen Community Centre in Australia, and the film is set to start shooting in July Namibia.
