Russell Brand to produce and star in The President Stole My Girlfriend

Get Him To The Greek funnyman Russell Brand has been attached to the upcoming Warner Bros. comedy The President Stole My Girlfriend.
Not only will he star but he will also produce through his Branded Films company with his partner Nik Linnen while Beau Bauman is executive producing from a script written by Movie 43 scribe Matt Portenoy.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Brand explained "In this movie, the president steals the girlfriend of a sexy hippie—me, obviously, It was inspired by the night I naively invited Warners Bros. president Jeff Robinov for dinner."
Brand was last seen in the box office disappointment Arthur alongside Helen Mirren and Jennifer garner, he'll next be seen in Adam Shankman's Rock of Ages as Lonnie alongside Burlesque babe Julianne Hough, Hollywood legend Tom Cruise and Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston when it comes to cinemas on June 29.
He's also set to reteam with Hough for Diablo Cody's directorial debut Lamb of God as William.
