Ryan Gosling emerges as frontrunner to go to the Moon in Damien Chazelle’s Neil Armstrong biopic First Man
Sought after Actor Ryan Gosling has emerged as the frontrunner to head to the Moon as Neil Armstrong in La La Land filmmaker Damien Chazelle's First Man.
Deadline report that First Man is in the early stages of development but Gosling is already being eyed for the lead role in the film written by Spotlight scribe Josh Singer, who is adapting James Hansen's biography First Man: A Life Of Neil A. Armstrong.
As well as hosting Saturday Night Live across the pond on December 5, Gosling will next be seen alongside Brad Pitt in Adam McKay’s drama The Big Short, Shane Black’s The Nice Guys and the aforementioned La La Land, he’ll also be working on the eagerly awaited sequel to Blade Runner alongside Star Wars legend Harrison Ford.
