Sacha Baron Cohen and Kurt Russell depart from Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained

Late last month saw the release of the first look images from Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained and while things looked to be going swimmingly it seems that two actors have dropped out of the spaghetti western.
Variety's Jeff Sneider who broke the news over Twitter that Kurt Russell was set to play Ace Woody a ruthless trainer who pits slave fighters against each other has dropped out of the film and word is that Oscar nominated British funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen who was set to play gambler Scotty Harmony, revealed on The Howard Stern Show that he is no longer starring in the film.
Cohen said to stern "That was going to be a cameo, but I had to drop out because of The Dictator's press tour."
Django Unchained is due to arrive in cinemas on January 18 next year and features Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington, Christoph Waltz, Jamie Foxx, Don Johnson, James Remar, Anthony LaPaglia and James Russo.
