Samuel L. Jackson keen to extend Marvel Studios contract

23 January 2014

Hollywood legend Samuel L. Jackson who currently has a nine picture deal with Marvel Studios to portray S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury has said that he is unsure about his future with the Cinematic Universe.

Speaking to Fandango, the veteran actor said "I just know that the Marvel Universe is there, that there are things going on, and that I have three pictures left on my nine-picture deal.

That's all I know. I've done six of them, and I'm about to do seven, so I'm running out of Marvel pictures - unless they extend my contract."

But don't count him out just yet, as Jackson is keen to sign on for more films, when asked if he would, he added "Hell, yeah! Why wouldn't I?"

Jackson returns as Nick Fury in the March release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, alongside Chris Evans, Emily VanCamp, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Robert Redford, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Toby Jones, Frank Grillo, Dominic Cooper, Alan Dale, Jenny Agutter
