Samuel L. Jackson says he has action scenes in The Avengers

Screen legend Samuel L. Jackson who has had a long and illustrious career with films including Pulp Fiction, the xXx franchise, Unbreakable, Shaft and S.W.A.T. is set to reprise his role of Nick Fury for Joss Whedon's superhero team up The Avengers and in a new interview he offers an update and reveals that he does a lot more this time around.
Speaking with BBC Newsbeat he said "I'm actually doing more than I've done in any of the other films, you don't have to wait until the end of the movie to see me. I'm actually around the whole movie and I do a lot more. I have action scenes and I actually do things to people in this movie."
He also says that the eagerly anticipated Marvel production is a dream job and that he couldn't be happier sharing the stage with the star studded cast adding "We're all really good friends, it's kind of funny to stand around in a room and see everybody. Thor is standing there in his costume. Captain America. Sometime's he's dressed and sometimes he's not. Scarlett is there as Black Widow. Robert Downey is there. He very seldom has his Iron Man costume on when he's just hanging around with his buds. It's just amazing to look around the room and see all of those guys there and go, 'Okay. This is cool.'"
Jackson, Johansson and Downey are just a few of the big names in The Avengers, they join Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk aka Bruce Banner, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Clark Gregg who reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson and Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill.
Shooting is underway for a May 4 2012 release and so far plot details are being kept under wraps but it is strongly suggested that Tom Hiddleston's Loki is a key antagonist.
