Sarah Gadon celebrates two new projects INDIGNATION and 11/22/63 at the Sundance Film Festival
Sarah Gadon, Jaeger-LeCoultre friend of the brand, attended the 2016 Sundance Film Festival to present her two new projects INDIGNATION and 11/22/63.
Her first project, Indignation, written and directed by James Schamus is based on a Philipp Roth bestseller and takes place in the 1950’s.
Marcus (Logan Lerman), a working-class Jewish student from New Jersey, attends a small Ohio college, where he struggles with sexual repression and cultural disaffection; set against the backdrop of the ongoing Korean War. Sarah plays Olivia Hutton, a young, pretty and fiercely independent classmate of Marcus: a upper middle class mid-west beauty running up against the ideology and power structures of the time.

‘I had a wonderful time shooting Indignation this past the summer in New York. I’ve been a longtime fan of James Schamus as a writer/producer and to work with him as a director was extremely stimulating.
At this point in my journey as an actor I’m looking to have meaningful experiences where I am pushed creatively and I can learn and thrive.
Olivia Hutton is a lot like Sylvia Plath, she was an incredibly smart girl, almost ahead of her time. She never really fit into her surroundings, which made it difficult for her to fully be herself.’
Sarah will attend the Berlin Festival for Indignation’s international premiere on February 14th.2016
Her second big project this year is the TV show 11/22/63, based on Stephen King’s bestseller.
Sarah stars alongside James Franco, winner of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award in 2014 at the Venice International Film Festival.
The Show, which will air in the US on February 15, 2016, highlights the Kennedy assassination; with a sweeping love story at its core.
Sarah plays Sadie Dunhill, a librarian from the early 60’s who steals the heart of James Franco’s character, Jake Epping, which ultimately changes the course of history.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is proud to be associated with such an accomplished actress.
