Sarah Jessica Parker officially replaces Demi Moore in Lovelace biopic

28 January 2012

While it was thought that Mary-Louise Parker was set to replace Demi Moore in the Lovelace biopic after reports revealed that producers had talked to the Weeds actress, the official word is that Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker will take on the role.

Us Weekly report that Parker will take on the role of feminist activist Gloria Steinem in the film from Howl filmmakers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman that chronicles the life of Linda Lovelace, the legendary Deep Throat porn actress.

Parker joins the cast that recently secured Chloë Sevigny as a feminist journalist assigned to write a story about Lovelace along with Juno Temple, Sharon Stone, Hank Azaria and Peter Sarsgaard as well as a cameo from James Franco as Hugh Hefner and the gorgeous Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace herself.

The film is in production now and we should see the finished product later this year.
