Scarlett Johansson floats away with ‘Gravity’
Scarlett Johansson has reportedly “verbally agreed” to star in director Alfonso Cuaron’s 3D Sci-Fi blockbuster 'Gravity'.
The film will be a reunion with her 'Iron Man 2' co-star Robert Downey Jr., the director has described the film as "the most ambitious film, technology wise, since 'Avatar'" and will tell the story of a woman who attempts to make her way back to earth after a series of accidents in space.
The role was originally set for 'Salt' star Angelina Jolie, but she pulled out of the film, apparently with her commitments on 'Salt' and the proposed sequel it meant that she couldn't do it.
According to reports Scarlett will play the lead role of medical engineer Ryan Stone while the wonderful Robert Downey Jr. will appear in scenes at the start and end of the film.
