Scary Movie 5 babe Ashley Tisdale joins Nicolas Cage in Vic Armstrong’s Left Behind
While she'll next be seen in Malcolm D. Lee's comedy sequel Scary Movie 5, it has emerged that High School Musical sweetheart Ashley Tisdale will join Hollywood legend Nicolas Cage in the forthcoming adaptation of Left Behind.
Deadline report that Tisdale will portray Chloe Steele, the daughter of Cage's character who is one of the last humans left on Earth after the rapture and goes in search of mankind when millions of people disappear.
Left Behind will be directed by The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles's Vic Armstrong and is based on the novel of writer Jerry B. Jenkins.
The aforementioned Scary Movie 5 opens in UK cinemas on April 12 and also features Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, Anthony Anderson, Molly Shannon and TV favourite Heather Locklear.
