14 March 2016

She was last seen on the big screen in the colossal hit Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, and word is that Billie Lourd will return to her role for Rian Johnson's Star Wars: Episode VIII, and may have some lines this time!

Best known for her role of Chanel in E4's Scream Queens, and at a promotional event for the show in Los Angeles at the weekend, Lourd was asked if Director Rian Johnson had asked her to appear in the eagerly awaited follow up, she answered "I can't say much about it, but yes.

"I am working on Star Wars VIII, but that's all I can say."

Lourd appeared as Lieutenant Connix, seen sporting hair buns in a homage to the hair style of Princess Leia at the Resistance Base.

Lourd is set to reprise her role of Chanel #3 in the second season of Scream Queens which is expected to return to E4 this October. She also has Billionaire Boys Club from filmmaker James Cox in post production.
