UK and US premium SVOD/AVOD streaming aggregator ScreenHits TV, launching a rapid global expansion starting in India and continuing across key European, Latin and North American territories in the coming months, today announced it has bolstered it's ranks with the addition of Joe Lewis, former Amazon Studios Head of Comedy and Drama and current Head of Amplify Pictures; former WarnerMedia and Disney EMEA distribution executive Humphrey Black; and senior Latin America network, streaming, content and business exec Mariano Kon.

In making the announcement, ScreenHits TV Founder-CEO Rose Adkins Hulse said, “The importance of having the collective wisdom of Joe, Humphrey and Mariano available to us as we expand and enhance our footprint around the world cannot be understated,” Hulse said. “With our focus on our territory rollouts, new product features and always creating the best product, their counsel and management will be invaluable as we face the challenges of all of the wonderful opportunities available to us right now.”

Lewis will serve on the ScreenHits TV Advisory Board alongside Black and another recent addition, financier-turned-documentary producer Ghislaine Couvillat.

An Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning producer, Lewis’ credits include executive producing Fleabag for BBC/Amazon, Too Old to Die Young and Transparent for Amazon and 100 Foot Wave for HBO.

"ScreenHits TV has created an amazing aggregator with incredible streamers that is consumer focused and well curated. I'm excited to join the Board and to be working with an exceptional and innovative team at ScreenHits TV as they enter into their growth phase," said Joe Lewis, CEO & Head of Television at Amplify Pictures. “It is exciting to see media evolving with industry veterans and a leader like Rose at the helm of a media tech business," said Lewis.

Black has held senior distribution roles at WarnerMedia and Disney. As Vice President, Media Distribution, EMEA, at WarnerMedia, and as a member of the executive management team, he led all network distribution, program licensing and digital distribution activities in the region. At Disney, he was responsible for distribution of the company’s portfolio of networks and championed the launch of branded on-demand services and mobile apps.

“With the array of streaming services growing daily, there is a clear customer need for a service like ScreenHits TV, which offers greater simplicity, convenience and value to its users by aggregating their streaming services,” Black said. “I’m excited to be involved in a company with so much potential to be an important player in the new media landscape.”

Kon brings an extensive network, streaming, content and business development background to ScreenHits TV. He has served in senior network posts in Latin America, including VP & GM of Programming and Production for A&E Channel, GM of Claxson’s Infinito Channels and, most recently, Argentina’s streaming platform Cont.ar. The executive has also taken the reins of content and business development at international production companies Eyeworks/Cuatro Cabezas, BBC Worldwide/GP Media and Plataforma.

“In times of profound change in how content is produced, distributed and consumed, ScreenHits TV is one of the most innovative companies in the global media industry today,” he said. “This service is a unique opportunity and it is a great honor for me to be able to contribute to its growth in such a dynamic region as Latin America, where we can provide the best aggregation experience to LatAm audiences.”

The added muscle comes as the fast-growing, intuitive content curation technology service is about to launch in multiple international territories starting with India, where it has entered into a JV agreement with the founders of India’s Vial Content Techformer Sony Pictures Network India CEO Kunal Dasgupta and EVP Vivek Gupta - to lead the service’s expansion in the world’s second-most populous nation.

U.S. and UK streaming aggregator ScreenHits TV has formed its first franchise/joint venture partnership with former Sony Pictures Network India CEO Kunal Dasgupta and EVP Vivek Gupta, who will lead the premium SVOD/AVOD content curator’s expansion in the world’s second-most populous nation.

India joins a growing list of territories gaining access to the streaming service, which is about to embark on launches in European, Latin and North American territories beginning with the DACH territories (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) at the end of this month, followed by Argentina and Canada.

ScreenHits TV currently aggregates 32 of the top streaming services in the U.S. – with three more major players slated to come aboard by the end of July – and has a growing number of affiliate partnerships including Paramount+, Hulu, Fubo TV and IndieFlix.

Its services vary from region to region but include many of the leading premium streamers and, with the next version update and release of its new mobile app nearing in the U.S., ScreenHits TV will add additional affiliate partners.

The app will allow subscribers to integrate their existing streaming platforms including Amazon Prime, Disney+, StarzPlay, Moviesphere, Paramount Plus, Britbox, MUBI, ITV Huband BFI Player, among others. Along with its iOS tablet app, the mobile app will have compatibility with Android TVs via Chromecast and Fire TV and, shortly, ScreenHits TV will launch a native app on Vizio, LG and Metz

Users will also be able to watch live premium TV channels and thousands of shows and films with discounts offered across a number of subscriptions. Streamers such as Amazon Prime and Paramount+ will be available at cost savings up to 25% per month. Users will also be able to share their favorite shows across all platforms with their friends and family and have new premium bundles added regularly.

One of the key features distinguishing the intuitive content aggregator is its ability to streamline choices for busy consumers through curation, which has allowed it to not only offer the best streaming services but a way for them to organize and get the most out of their streaming subscriptions in one place. This has provided a significant advantage to its affiliate partners, permitting them to prevent churn and ensure their content always remains top of mind with consumers at the point of discovery.

Its unique interface will allow subscribers to discover content across all the leading premium streamers, without having to switch between apps, as well as their AVOD and live channels via an easy-to-use tablet app, desktop versions and Android TV, Chromecast, Fire Stick platforms and smart TVs.

Consumers can now easily see what is trending; share recommendations with friends and discover content across all their streaming subscriptions. The user will also have automatic access to premium content channels and live TV with ScreenHits TV’s simple, easy-to-use traditional EPG (Electronic Programming Guide) with key cost saving benefits.
