Seann William Scott enjoyed returning to Stifler for American Pie: Reunion

23 March 2012

He was last seen in Michael Dowse's Hockey comedy Goon and he'll next be seen reprising his role of Steve Stifler in the hotly anticipated sequel American Pie: Reunion and Seann William Scott has said that he has really enjoyed stepping back into the role that made him a household name.

William Scott has starred in the likes of Bulletproof Monk, Mr. Woodcock and Role Models and tells Flicks and Bits that he has had the most fun on the upcoming sequel "It's a lot of fun to play.

It's so much more fun now as well, because my sense of humour has changed - I'm weirder and a little bit more bold," Scott explained. "What a fantastic character, to see this guy in his 30s, doing things that other 30-year-olds really don't want to see, but maybe they want to do.

Stifler's the person who hasn't changed, but the world around him has changed. He cant deal with it, he's still living in the high school world. That is definitely fun to play."

American Pie: Reunion from filmmakers Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg features the original cast Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Owen, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Mena Suvari, Chris Klein, Eugene Levy, Tara Reid, Jennifer Coolidge, Eddie Kaye Thomas, John Cho and new recruits Dania Ramirez and Katrina Bowden.
