Seth Rogen set to develop The B Team for Disney

24 December 2011

Hollywood funnyman Seth Rogen who can currently be seen in 50/50 with Joseph Gordon-Levitt is reportedly set to develop the spy spoof The B Team.

The B Team was to be the title of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg's cop comedy The Other Guys, until Joe Carnahan's The A Team exploded onto screens in 2010.

Apparently the concept pre-dates those others and was  originally pitched to Disney by Derek Guiley and David Schneiderman back in 2004.

The story is about a top secret-agent who gets kidnapped and has to be rescued by his back-up gang of researchers and techies, who presumably aren't quite as "top" as he is and the film is currently in the early stages, which will give Rogen the time needed to get Jay And Seth Vs. The Apocalypse in front of the cameras which is said to be set to start in February.

Rogen will next be seen in Anne Fletcher's comedy My Mother's Curse with Hollywood icon Barbra Streisand.
