Shane Black says Iron Man 3 caps off a trilogy
Iron Man 3 hits cinemas in April and Director Shane Black has discussed the third instalment, describing it as a conclusion to a trilogy as well as discussing reuniting with Robert Downey Jr.
Speaking to Premiere magazine, the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang filmmaker said "He remained hyper-intuitive, fun and unpredictable, the only thing that changed is that he's now one of the biggest stars in the world, and I can't cross the street with him without being mobbed."
Iron Man 3 opens on April 26 featuring Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall, Guy Pearce, Paul Bettany, Jon Favreau, William Sadler, Cobie Smulders, Ty Simpkins and James Badge Dale and Black added "I have the feeling that the story we developed for Iron Man 3 actually concluded a trilogy, while also leaving the door open to a fourth.
I had a lot of discussions on this subject: 'Is this the last Iron Man for Robert?' Something tells me that it will not be the case, and that he'll be seen in a fourth or fifth."
