Silver Linings Playbook babe Jennifer Lawrence reveals intimidation of The Hunger Games role
With David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook coming to cinemas tomorrow, Jennifer Lawrence has admitted that she was intimidated to star in The Hunger Games.
The gorgeous actress revealed to USA Today that she was initially unsure if she could handle the pressure of playing Katniss Everdeen in the worldwide hit franchise "It's so huge. It's why I almost didn't take the movie, it's a character that can very easily overpower the rest of my characters.
I don't want to do something that's kind of similar. I haven't really done that many movies."
Lawrence who is currently filming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire explained that she was ultimately touched to have earned the acceptance of the loyal fans adding "It's such an awesome thing to be part of something that speaks to so many young kids about something that actually matters, about what one young person can actually do.
I feel like I'm part of an important message and that feels good. It feels nice."
Silver Linings Playbook opens tomorrow and also stars Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, Julia Stiles, Chris Tucker, Dash Mihok and John Ortiz.
