Simon Kinberg has completed Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot

22 January 2014

With a reboot to the lacklustre Fantastic Four coming from Chronicle filmmaker Josh Trank, it has emerged that screenwriter Simon Kinberg has completed his re-write.

Variety reports that with the re-write complete, Fox will look to cast the film, with Miles Teller, Kit Harington and Richard Madden testing for the role of Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic and Kate Mara and Saoirse Ronan testing for Sue Storm aka The Invisible Woman.

So far only Chronicle‘s Michael B. Jordan has been attached to the role of Johnny Storm aka Human Torch and whilst no one is attiched to the role of Ben Grimm aka The Thing, The Expendables franchise star Terry Crews has been vocal in his pursuit of the role.

Trank is expected to start filming in Baton Rouge this March, and the final film is set to arrive in cinemas on June 19 2015.

Who do you want to see in the Fantastic Four reboot? Or are you in the camp that the rights should just revert back to Marvel?
