Simon West wants Sean Connery for The Expendables 3

It has emerged that retired 81 year old acting legend Sean Connery is on the wish list to join Sylvester Stallone in the ensemble cast of action threequel The Expendables 3.

The Expendables 2 director Simon West told PA "I don't know who's left [to include in a third film].

Sean Connery would be great to bring back from retirement, I don't know if he wants to do it, but I'd love to have Sean Connery."

At the UK press conference last week, Stallone confirmed a third entry into the franchise, and word is that Nicolas Cage, Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood have entered talks to join the action franchise and just this morning it emerged that Adi Shankar is assembling a team headed by Sigourney Weaver and Linda Hamilton for a female version of the action franchise.
