Sir Michael Caine reunites with Christopher Nolan for sixth time for Interstellar
The cast of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar has added Sir Michael Caine, marking the sixth collaboration between the pair.
Caine joins Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway in an unknown role in the film, and while details of Interstellar are being kept underwraps, we do know that it will centre around an epic journey to the farthest reaches of scientific knowledge.
Filmmaking legend Steven Spielberg originally conceived the project and Jonathan Nolan wrote the first draft of the script, which has since been rewritten by Nolan to incorporate his own ideas.
Interstellar is set for release on November 7 next year and Caine returns to cinemas with Louis Leterrier's Now You See Me alongside his The Dark Knight trilogy co-star Morgan Freeman and will also be seen in Brad Anderson's Edgar Allan Poe adaptation Eliza Graves which is due to arrive in cinemas next year.
