Stephen Belber's 2014 film adaptation of his original 2004 Broadway play MATCH, sees veteran actor Sir Patrick Stewart gain critical-acclaim for his powerful flamboyant performance reminiscent of his famous first gay character "Jeffrey", as he takes the lead as fast-talking and witty Juilliard dance teacher, Tobi.

First played onstage by Tony-Award nominee Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon, Robot & Frank) opposite Ray Liotta (Goodfellas, Hannibal) and Jane Adams (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), MATCH centres around, Tobi, a Juilliard professor who is interviewed by a woman and her husband for her dissertation on the history of dance in 1960's New York, but it becomes increasingly clear that there are ulterior motives to the couple's visit!
