Slither’s Gregg Henry reteams with James Gunn for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is currently filming, and its ensemble cast has added another in the form of Slither's Gregg Henry.
Taking to Twitter, Gregg announced his involvement with the Marvel Studios production but did not divulge details of the role.
Guardians of the Galaxy will see him reunite with his Slither and Super director James Gunn in a film that centres on a jet pilot called Peter Quill who must bring together a team of aliens - among them Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Groot and Rocket Raccoon - to see off threats to the galaxy.
Set for release on August 1 next year, Guardians of the Galaxy features the cast of Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Ophelia Lovibond, Michael Rooker, Lee Pace, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Karen Gillan, Benicio Del Toro, Djimon Hounsou with Vin Diesel rumoured to be the voice of Groot.
