SOMETIMES DEAD IS BETTER: The Killer Spotlight’s Jonathan Hughes Reviews the 30th Anniversary Blu-ray Edition of PET SEMATARY

As we are so close to the upcoming reboot of PET SEMATARY, I thought this would be a good time to revisit the 1989 classic with its 30th anniversary Blu-ray edition.
Mary Lambert's take on Stephen King's chilling novel (which is screen played by King himself) is an unsettling commentary about grief and the obstacles that we sometimes stumble over whilst attempting to overcome loss. As its said throughout the movie... Sometimes Dead is Better.

So is this 30th Anniversary Blu-ray Worth buying?
Well if you're a fan of the 1989 original then I'd highly recommend you do exactly that. Here's why.
Mary Lambert’s go at Directing a Horror classic has been fully restored and looks great. Gives this dark tale a brighter look. The extras is where the real treasures lie with The Revisitation feature which includes an exclusive interview with Mary Lambert herself as she talks intimately about her experience working with Stephen King on the set of the movie. 3 New image galleries with NEVER BEFORE seen Storyboards, Featurettes including Stephen King Territory, The Characters & Filming The Horror, Commentary with Mary Lambert and an Exclusive look at the upcoming Pet Sematary reboot featuring the new cast and crew.
