Sought After Actress Emma Stone set to star in Nick Yarborough’s Black Listed spec script LETTERS FROM ROSEMARY
Sought after fan favourite Actress Emma Stone famed for Easy A and Superbad is reportedly set to star in LETTERS FROM ROSEMARY from first-time scribe Nick Yarborough!
The Black List spec script tells the story of Rose Marie “Rosemary” Kennedy, the first-born daughter to Rose Fitzgerald and Joseph Kennedy Sr. and the eldest sister of President John F. Kennedy and senators Robert F. Kennedy and Ted Kennedy.
After displaying behavioral problems that caused her to fall behind the achievements of her siblings due to a mental disability that was long kept secret, Joseph Kennedy arranged one of the first prefrontal lobotomies for her when she was 23.
The procedure was botched and left her permanently incapacitated.
Variety report that the story will take a look at the moments leading up to the procedure and how it affected the family going forward.
Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin and Doug Wald who produced the Oscar winning Spotlight are on hand to Produce alongside Allard Cantor, Jarrod Murray and Richard Arlook.
Stone returns to Cinemas this December with La La Land from filmmaker Damien Chazelle and Ryan Gosling, she will soon return to her role of Eep in The Croods 2 as well as Yorgos Lanthimos’s The Favourite and Battle of the Sexes from filmmakers Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris.
