Sought after talent Jessica Chastain set to receive the Spotlight Award

Sought after rising star Jessica Chastain who is famed for The Debt, The Tree of Life, The Help and Texas Killing Fields is set to receive the Spotlight Award at the upcoming 23rd annual Palm Springs International Film Festival.
She will be honoured at the ceremony which will be opened by the Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt starring Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and is one of 14 recipients that includes fellow actors George Clooney, Glenn Close, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, Octavia Spencer, Michelle Williams, Charlize Theron and Patton Oswalt as well as composer Howard Shore and screenwriter Diablo Cody and directors Stephen Daldry, Jason Reitman and Michel Hazanavicius.
Chastain who recently said she wants to continue challenging herself will next be seen in Coriolanus as Virgilia when the BFI favourite opens nationwide on January 20 from first time director Ralph Fiennes and will be seen in John Hillcoat's Wettest County with Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf and Guy Pearce on May 4 and has Tar, Mama and the Untitled Terrence Malick Project set for release as well as gearing up to star in Joseph Kosinski's Sci-Fi actioner Horizons with cinema icon Tom Cruise.
