Step Up All In’s Trish Sie takes Director’s Chair of Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson starring PITCH PERFECT 3

With a third entry in the ever popular Pitch Perfect franchise coming to Cinemas, it has been announced that Trish Sie has taken the Director’s Chair of the eagerly awaited followup.

Variety report that Sie will take the helm of the Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson starring sequel, following the departure of Elizabeth Banks from the hem.

Banks, who will stay on board as a Producer, showed her support on Twitter with the following caption “#PitchPerfect has a new leader – so excited @bigbadtrish is directing #PP3!”

Set for release on December 22 next year, Sie's Pitch Perfect 3 follows entries from Banks and original Director Jason Moore, which over-performed at the box office off of a $15 million budget.

As well as Producing, Banks will also reprise her role of Gail in the Kay Cannon written follow up.

Max Handelman of Brownstone Productions will also Produce alongside Paul Brooks and Scott Niemeyer of Gold Circle Films with Sara Scott the Vice President of Production overseeing Pitch Perfect 3 for Universal Pictures.

No stranger to Musical Productions, Sie is best known for Directing Step Up All In; the latest entry in the Step Up franchise.
