Stephen Merchant and Richard E. Grant join Hugh Jackman and Sir Patrick Stewart in James Mangold’s Wolverine 3
With a third entry in the Wolverine franchise coming to Cinemas under the direction of James Mangold it has emerged that Hello Ladies funnyman Stephen Merchant and Richard E. Grant have joined Hugh Jackman lead superhero film.
Rumoured to be based on the celebrated Old Man Logan storyline, Wolverine 3 is said to be the last time Hugh Jackman dons the famous claws.
Whilst there's no word yet on who he might play The Office co-creator took to Instagram to post a video of him having his head shaved.
Wolverine 3 is currently in pre-production and will see Sir Patrick Stewart return as a "very different version" of Charles Xavier and it is possible that Liev Schreiber will return as an Old Man Sabre Tooth, however Schreiber’s involvement has not been confirmed.
Jackman’s Logan aka Wolverine will make an appearance in Bryan Singer’s eagerly awaited X-Men Apocalypse which hits Cinemas on May 18.
