STUDIOCANAL, Europe’s leader in production, distribution and international sales of feature films and TV series, has launched a new podcast, STUDIOCANAL PRESENTS – THE PODCAST.

With one episode per month, starting from today, the podcast will bring cinema and TV fans the latest news and coverage of new and upcoming releases and celebrate exceptional films and series with a deep dive into STUDIOCANAL’s renowned and world-spanning library, including titles available on new streaming channel, STUDIOCANAL PRESENTS, which recently launched via Apple TV.

The podcast is presented by Film Stories magazine editor Simon Brew who will be joined by journalists and other guests to discuss a wide range of films and series, offering exclusive insight into a selection home-grown crowd-pleasers and world cinema greats, to acclaimed independent movies and modern and classic horror.

The first episode will focus on Francis Ford Coppola’s iconic APOCALYPSE NOW. Future episodes will take an in-depth look at Carol Reed’s THE THIRD MAN and the upcoming theatrical release THE RAILWAY CHILDREN RETURN, starring Jenny Agutter and Sheridan Smith, which will arrive in UK cinemas nationwide on July 15. It will continue to cover the best of international cinema and a host of timeless British classics, from Ealing comedies to films from STUDIOCANAL’s “Vintage Classics” collection, which celebrates the most iconic films from the history of British cinema.
