Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Take Over Telford and win the film on DVD

19 February 2015

This weekend Paramount Pictures UK visited the Telford International Centre for Comic Con.

Prior to the Blu-ray and DVD release of TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, Paramount took over stand X3 with 2 giant canvases and a famous graffiti artist in tow.

Nathan Bainbridge founder of Small Kid Design and master of graffiti was hired to design and create a piece to blow the minds of the 10,000 visitors that attended Comic Con this Valentine’s Day...

During the day Paramount urged people draw their own Ninja Turtle for the chance to win lots of goodies and a custom made Ninja Turtles canvas. At 2:30 PM a very tired Nathan headed to the main stage to talk a little bit more about his craft and to do a further live demonstration. The work he created was given to a very special young artist named Becky who spent an hour on the stand creating her own Ninja Turtle piece of art.

As one of the only interactive stalls at Comic Con Telford this year, there was consistently a stream of people waiting for their turn to show off their skills. The very popular stand quickly ran out of space on the canvas wall for participants’ Ninja Turtles artwork, which by the end of the day covered the floor!

In this eye-popping reimagining of the legendary heroes in a half shell, New York is under attack by the sinister Shredder, but fearless leader Leonardo, brilliant and brainy Donatello, rough and rebellious Raphael and wild and crazy Michelangelo take to the streets to defend their home with the help of intrepid reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and their brilliant sensei, Splinter. Packed with jaw-dropping action and special effects and loaded with the franchise’s signature humor, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES is fun for the whole family. The film also stars Will Arnett, Whoopi Goldberg, and William Fichtner and features Johnny Knoxville as the voice of Leonardo and Tony Shalhoub as the voice of Splinter.
