Terrible People Productions’ Award Winning Five Episode Web Series JULIA – THE SERIES Available to Stream NOW ONLINE

10 March 2020

“There’s one million foreigners in London, one million people who got here to get what they deserve. And what do we deserve? Fuck all, mate!” - Panino in Julia – The Series

Has there ever been a more frantic period to be a foreigner living in the UK?

All the twenty-somethings who have recently moved here can relate: London, as most of UK largest cities, is a hectic place. And if you don’t adapt to its pace, to its slew of nonsense events, you’re left behind.

That’s what Julia – The Series, the new dark-comedy web series created by Terrible People Productions, is all about.

Let’s put aside that ‘B’ phenomena featured by every newspaper at the moment – it’s actually about the hundreds of thousands of people crowding the streets, bringing their own smells, their own swearwords and food, the multi-coloured clothes and hairstyles and at least 73 different ways of brewing coffee all together in one place.

That’s how it must have felt living in the Roman Empire during the Golden Age (except for the excruciatingly long commute, the Romans would have found a better way to do that FOSH).

Terrible People Production’s objective is to represent this intersection of society with its upcoming dark-comedy web series that will be available online from March 3.

The innovative format of Julia – The Series – five episodes, ten minutes each – targets an audience constantly on the move, so it’s easily accessible from smartphones even during the – horrendous –commutes.

The story follows the misadventures of three European flatmates. When returning a wallet found on the street, a jittery stand-up comedian and his Italian goody-two-shoe friend have to fight back the aftermath of some unfortunate coincidences: weirdly enough, a family of schizoid criminals thinks that they have stolen their money. The only way out? Finding Julia, the owner of the wallet.

Besides, it’s important to mention that terrific moment when an Italian is forced to eat spaghetti with ketchup on it. Or when Panino meets his crazy feminist Tinder date. Also, that stand-up gig at The Bill Murray that goes horribly wrong.

No spoilers here, just great reasons to watch Julia – The Series here NOW.

As a Londoner, you will be immensely entertained.

As a person living outside the UK, you’ll probably think these guys are out of their minds.
