That’s a Wrap! Neon Soaked Grindhouse Style Horror Comedy Six Hot Chicks in a Warehouse completes Principal Photography
That’s a wrap! The Fan Carpet are delighted to announce that principal photography has wrapped on Simon P. Edwards’ neon soaked Ultra-violent Grindhouse style Horror, Comedy Six Hot Chicks in a Warehouse!
Following an extremely successful Kickstarter Campaign, Six Hot Chicks in a Warehouse has wrapped its two week shoot on location in Norwich, UK, produced by Kill the Sunset Pictures and written by Kim Dyer, Kate G. Smith and Simon P. Edwards,
Production of SHCiaW began on March 28 starring Jessica Messenger as Mira, Sabine Crossen as Ana, Elesha Thorn as Alice, Jade Wallis as Sera, Sandra Huzuneanu as Jane, Holly Springett as Joey and Oliver Malam as Adrian with Max Rudd as Liam, Jesse Jane as April, Samantha Elliott Brody as Claire and Chloe Toy as Cassie and Emma Lock.
In Six Hot Chicks in a Warehouse a body conscious photographer, Adrian, concocts a scenario in which he attempts to project his insecurities onto those who mock him. Hired by Adrian, his professed muse Mira and five other girls begin to question who is using who when it becomes clear that the not so normal mind of the photographer himself isn't all the girls have to worry about.
Director Simon P. Edwards said “From the moment we created the absolutely bizarre concept of SHCIAW it quickly became obvious to me that this film was one which grabbed attention both positive and negative. I'll be honest, being quite a shy character myself the prospect of directing this script terrified me. The title is the equivalent to running down the high street shouting out a swear word as loud as your lungs will allow.”
Producer and Lead Actress Jessica Messenger added “Simon has a great eye for detail and an intention to make this film one of a kind. With a sense of Grindhouse we have all come to know and love, it still has a British flavour to it and that I love. He's not recreating anything, and with the description he has penned for this film, "A neon-soaked, Ultra-violent Grindhouse movie", I couldn't of described it better myself if I tried.”
