The Company You Keep’s Robert Redford set to join Captain America: The Winter Soldier as an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Hollywood legend Robert Redford who returns to cinemas in June with The Company You Keep is reportedly in talks to join Anthony and Joe Russo's Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Deadline report that Redford is in talks to play a high ranking Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. In the Marvel superhero sequel that is said to be a political thriller inspired by Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting's acclaimed arc in the comics.
Redford would join the cast of Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Scarlett Johansson, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell and Maximiliano Hernández who returns to his role of Agent Sitwell.
Redford's The Company You Keep opens on June 7 and features the all star cast of Shia LaBeouf, Stanley Tucci, Nick Nolte, Susan Sarandon, Stephen Root, Chris Cooper, Richard Jenkins, Julie Christie, Brit Marling, Anna Kendrick and Terrence Howard.
