The Dark Knight Rises hero Joseph Gordon-Levitt in final talks to join Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
He was last seen in the fast paced caper Premium Rush and while he returns to cinemas for the release of Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, it has emerged that Joseph Gordon-Levitt has secured a role in the hotly anticipated sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
The Dark Knight Rises hero is now out of the running for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and Deadline report that he is in final talks for the role of Johnny, which was reportedly previously offered to Lone Ranger star Johnny Depp.
Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel of the same name, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will be directed by the legendary author and Machete Kills filmmaker Robert Rodriguez.
Should Gordon-Levitt sign, he'll join the returning cast that include Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Jaime King and Rosario Dawson, along with Once Upon a Time heroine Jamie Chung replacing Devon Aoki and Dennis Haysbert who replaces the dearly departed Michael Clarke Duncan.
