The Fan Carpet's Camila Sayers in association with Popcorn spoke to Newport Beach Film Festival Creators Gary Sherwin and Gregg Schwenk, Variety's Steven Gaydos, The Ink Factory's Simon Cornwell, I, Daniel Blake's Dave Johns, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children's Ella Purnell and the Legendary Charles Dance and Miranda Richardson at the Newport Beach Film Festival Honours Event at London's Bvlgari Hotel in Knightsbridge.

The Bvlgari Hotel will host the great and the good of the UK’s creative industries as the Newport Beach Film Festival and Visit Newport Beach roll out the red carpet for their UK Honours event in London on February 9th, 2017. This special evening is designed to celebrate the creative arts in the UK and is hosted in collaboration with US trade Variety and UK actors and creative artists’ union Equity.

The programme of Honours will recognise individuals and organisations who, through their contributions, have transformed the UKs creative landscape. On the night, we will celebrate figures from the world of photography, theatre, television, film and literature across the below categories:
