The Fan Carpet’s Marc Jason Ali spoke to the winners from Mossend Primary School & The Learning Centre, The National Film and Television School, Stratton Primary School, Bude, Warrington Youth Club, Cyfarthfa Park Primary School, First Campus and Winding Snake, Cardiff, Rhymney Comprehensive School, Axholme Academy & Cut Ltd, Arts University Bournemouth and Simon Pile who was awarded Teacher of the Year and the Ones to Watch; Jess O’Brien, Sean McInally, and Joe Blandamer and Rhys who won for Review of the Year for his review of 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY.

14 UK schools and young filmmakers recognised by leading film talent including Michael Sheen, Simon Pegg and Ed Skrein at ceremonyInto Film today announced the recipients of its 2nd annual Into Film Awards, which pay tribute to outstanding 5 – 19 year olds from across the UK who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in filmmaking and film reviewing. The education organisation, supported by the BFI through Lottery funding, honoured the young filmmakers during a formal red carpet ceremony at Odeon Leicester Square.
