The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo rising star Rooney Mara honoured to be in The Social Network
We already know that she tried to sabotage her audition for the remake of horror classic A Nightmare on Elm Street, and now sought after rising talent Rooney Mara has revealed that there was a role that changed her life.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo heroine tells The AP that she was really honoured to have appeared in the highly acclaimed, multi Oscar winning The Social Network as Erica Albright, the girl who memorably broke up with Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) in the opening moments of the film and explains
"It just felt different than anything else I had done, after that, I got really picky. I didn't work for a year. I didn't work until I got this part in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo because I was just trying to find something that I was really passionate about."
Mara can currently be seen in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo as heroine Libeth Salander and is gearing up to work on Untitled International Thriller with The Hurt Locker filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow alongside Tom Hardy and Idris Elba as well as the Terrence Malick written and directed Lawless with The Gangster Squad's Ryan Gosling and The Dark Knight Rises hero Christian Bale.
