There have been countless films made over the years with a lot of them being good and loads of them being pretty bad too. Of the films that are good there are a select few that do more than just entertain the viewing audience. Some movies have been inspirational while others have told such a great or gripping story that they have stirred a whole world of emotions. A lot of these films go down as classics and generation after generation watch them.

The Godfather
The Godfather is the first in what is potentially one of the greatest film trilogies of all time. Many people also feel that The Godfather itself is one of the best movies to ever hit the screens too. The film which is based on the novel by Mario Puzo, centres in on Don Vito Corleone and his extremely powerful Italian-American crime family. Michael, the son of the Don, joins the family business reluctantly and the movie tells the story of what this entails.

Scarface
Scarface is another classic film which received critical acclaim as Al Pacino starred as Tony Montana in the hit movie. Montana assassinates a government official from Cuba nad in return receives a green card. With this he gets involved in the Miami drug trade and quickly rises to the top with his murderous streak giving him a helping hand. The film depicts the rise and fall of the man who dominated the Miami cocaine scene.

Titanic
Titanic which was released in 1997 tells the story of the maiden voyage of the R.M.S. Titanic. Based on a real-life event where over 1500 people perished in the North Atlantic sea in the middle of the night on the 15th of April 1912, the film is James Cameron’s take on events. It tells of a love story between Jack and Rose, played by Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet respectively. It’s a film that was a huge hit at the box office and one of those that everyone will have seen at least once. In fact, testimony to its huge global appeal is that there are numerous games and several popular brands like Unibet Casino feature a slot game inspired by the film.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
E.T is a much-loved family film that takes viewers on an emotional rollercoaster. E.T. is a friendly and gentle alien who finds himself stranded on planet Earth. After being found by a young boy called Elliott they become the best of friends. Elliott tales E.T. home and keeps him hidden apart from introducing him to his brother and little sister. Unfortunately, E.T. becomes seriously ill and this results in the government getting involved.

Star Wars
Star Wars is one of the biggest and most loved movie franchises of all time. They’re still pumping out new films still to this day that are always box office hits. The Star Wars film itself tells the story of Luke Skywalker and his solitary existence who comes across Rey which leads Luke to make a life changing decision. It’s a film with a lot going on as the First Order also go all out against Leia and the Resistance in a battle for supremacy.
