The Lone Ranger’s Ruth Wilson discusses working with Johnny Depp
The Lone Ranger rides into cinemas on Friday, and Ruth Wilson who features as Rebecca Reid has opened up about working with Johnny Depp.
Speaking to Digital Spy, the Luther favourite revealed that the first time she met Depp he was dressed in full Tonto costume explaining "My first meeting was at the read through and he turned up in full Tonto make-up. Very Hollywood and a bit weird, but we realised that he had a make-up test in the morning, it wasn't planned. It was very funny.
He's really quite quiet and shy. He observes and watches, and has a very subversive humour which he shares with Gore. They see the world slightly differently... the energy they bring on set is just fun and quizzical."
The Lone Ranger opens on Friday August 9 and also features Armie Hammer, Helena Bonham Carter, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, Tom Wilkinson, James Frain and James Badge Dale.
Wilson will next be seen alongside Tom Hanks in John Lee Hancock's Saving Mr. Banks which opens on January 17 2014.
