The Lucky One hunk Zac Efron reflects on his career

While Zac Efron returns to cinemas on Friday with The Lucky One, the latest film adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel, the young heartthrob has reflected on his career.
Speaking to Collider, Efron who plays a Marine named Logan who travels to North Carolina to search for the woman in a photograph he believes kept him alive during his time in Iraq and when asked about playing more intense parts, he shared "It's been incredibly fun and educational. I set out very early on.
I look back when I said that I was going to do this ages ago, when I was young, I didn't know what I was getting into. I think that it's proven to be everything I dreamed it would be.
It's been great but it's very different. If you'd have asked me when I was auditioning for High School Musical if I ever thought I was going to play a Marine..."
Talking about his future with music he added "I don't think music is done by any means, I would love to do it again but it's finding the right thing."
The Lucky One opens on April 20 and features rising star Taylor Schilling and acting legend Blythe Danner, Efron will also be heard in The Lorax which arrives on July 27 alongside Country music sensation Taylor Swift and comedy legend Danny DeVito.
