‘The Office’ Actress, Jenna Fischer, Expecting First Child

It's been recently announced that Jenna Fischer, star of the U.S. TV series, The Office, is expecting her first child with her screenwriter husband, Lee Kirk.

In an interesting parallel, in The Office, the 37-year-old actually plays the role of a woman named Pam Beesley who had her first child last year.

In an interview with Redbook magazine (March issue), Jenna had revealed that being an aunty had fuelled her desire to want to start a family of her own. She said, "I already wanted kids, but even more so now".  

When the character she plays went on 'maternity leave', Jenna had the opportunity to spend a week with her niece (Cecelia) when she was just three weeks old. "I took charge of the night feedings. It was so awesome: Every night at 9:30, I'd say, 'You guys go to sleep now.' I wanted CeCe all to myself. We really bonded".

All the best to the expectant parents. And here's hoping they don't scar their little bubba with a weird name like Antelope or something.
