The Stars Of Marvel Studios’ THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER Turn Up The Volume In London’s Leicester Square At UK Gala Screening

This evening,  Walt Disney Studios bought together a band of stars from Marvel Studios’ newest instalment to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), “THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER” ahead of its release in UK cinemas on July 7.

The high-voltage event was held at the Odeon LUXE, Leicester Square, London, UK with director Taika Waititi in attendance, alongside the film’s stars Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Pom Klementieff and Kieron L. Dyer.

Also in attendance was star of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series “Ms Marvel”, Rish Shah (32.7K)  “The Marvels” director Nia DaCosta and also Rita Ora (16.1M) Brett Goldstein (491K), Regé-Jean Page (6.3M), Serena Williams (15M), Ferne McCann (2.9M), Kate Garraway (1.1M), Anna Whitehouse (354K), James Cracknell (111K) to name only a few.

Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder” finds the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – one of self-discovery. But his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.

Directed by Taika Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok,” “Jojo Rabbit”) and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum, “THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER” opens in cinemas July 7, 2022.
