Thor: The Dark World helmer Alan Taylor up for Terminator 5
With a fifth entry in the ever popular Terminator franchise coming our way, it has emerged that Game of Thrones and Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor has entered talks to helm the film.
Variety report that his work on the Chris Hemsworth starring superhero outing put him on te radar for the role., with reports suggesting that Studio Paramount previously targeted Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Life of Pi director Ang Lee, however a deal could not be reached.
Set for release in 2015, the fifth Terminator film will see Arnold Schwarzenegger return to the series, however it is not known which role he will take.
Avatar scribe Laeta Kalorgridis and Drive Angry's Patrick Lussier are attached to write the screenplay for the film that will be jointly produced by Paramount, Skydance and Annapurna Pictures.
