Tommy Lee Jones joins Matt Damon in Paul Greengrass’s return to the Bourne franchise
Hollywood legend Tommy Lee Jones has reportedly joined Matt Damon in Paul Greengrass’s return to the Bourne franchise.
Variety report that plot details are unknown at this time, though sources say Jones will play a superior officer at the CIA.
Written by Christopher Rouse, Bourne 5 will also see the addition of Testament of Youth star Alicia Vikander and the return of Julia Stiles as Nicky Parsons.
Frank Marshall will return to produce alongside Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment with Greengrass, Damon, Greg Goodman and Ben Smith also serving as Producers with Rouse and Henry Morrison will serving as executive producers.
Jones was last seen in The Homesman, which he also wrote and directed, he currently has Ariel Vromen’s Criminal with Gal Gadot and Dennis Gansel’s Mechanic: Resurrection with Jason Statham in post production.
