Tower Heist actor Matthew Broderick braves the cold with son James

14 December 2010

We don't see much of him, but Matthew Broderick who is famed for the 1987 classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off was seen braving the winter conditions of New York as he walked his son James to school.

Married to Sex and the City siren Sarah Jessica Parker, Broderick has completed work on the Anna Paquin starring Margaret. The Kenneth Lonergan directed drama centers on a 17-year-old New York City high-school student who feels certain that she inadvertently played a role in a traffic accident that has claimed a woman's life. In her attempts to set things right she meets with opposition at every step. Torn apart with frustration, she begins emotionally brutalizing her family, her friends, her teachers, and most of all, herself. She has been confronted quite unexpectedly with a basic truth: that her youthful ideals are on a collision course against the realities and compromises of the adult world.

With no UK release date set, he could be seen next in the currently filming Tower Heist. With a release date of November 4 set, the Brett Ratner directed action comedy sees a group of hard working guys who find out they've fallen victim to a wealthy business man's Ponzi scheme, they conspire to rob his high-rise residence. The crime caper also stars Little Fockers funnyman Ben Stiller.
