Transformers 3 snags Alan Tudyk

14 May 2010

Transformers 3 is shaping up to be the robot rumble to end robot rumbles, it has just been announced that Alan Tudyk has landed an as yet unspecified role in the third installment to the hugely successful franchise.

Tudyk who will always be known as Wash in 'Firefly/Serenity' has had a glittering career in both TV and film, with starring roles in 'A Knight's Tale' and 'I, Robot' on the big screen and 'Dollhouse' and 'V' on TV will join new cast members John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey and they'll join returning cast members Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, John Turturro, Peter Cullen, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn and Julie White, there are no details as to the plot of the film yet, but Michael Bay is filming in the Kennedy Space Centre in September, we’re guessing there could be some orbital action, he last filmed there for Armageddon back in the 90’s.
